Adopt-A-Stop

Adopt-A-Stop is a litter control program sponsored by METRA Transit System and Keep Columbus Beautiful to attract public involvement in picking up trash and debris at METRA bus stops.

Anyone can Adopt-A-Stop: civic groups, individuals, private companies, churches, and schools. However, METRA strongly discourages children under the age of 12 years old from participating due to work being performed near roadways. Adopters agree to pick up litter around the bus stops for one year. METRA provides adoption signs so that you receive recognition for your effort.
