ARP Homeowner Accessibility Rehabilitation Program (HARP)

Columbus Consolidated Government (CCG) and the Community Reinvestment Department are pleased to develop and administer The City of Columbus American Rescue Plan - Homeowner Accessibility Rehabilitation Programs (HARP).

The primary objective of the City of Columbus American Rescue Plan (ARP) Homeowner Accessibility Rehabilitation Program (HARP) is to extend support to vulnerable low-income households by addressing the need to preserve affordable housing.

CCG has allocated $3,000,000 to assist low-income households. This assistance targets the costs of necessary repairs and improvements to residential dwellings not to exceed $30,000.

To qualify for this program an applicant’s household income must be less than or equal to 80% of the Columbus Metro Fair Market Rents area median income for a Georgia household.

The Community Reinvestment Department will begin prescreening citizens in early spring 2024. In the interim, The ARP Homeowner Accessibility Rehabilitation Program (HARP) Program Overview is available for review. Review is required for program participation.
