Project Management Overview
The Columbus Consolidated Government Engineering Department manages the development and execution of capital projects during the planning, design, permitting, and construction phases including coordination with City Departments, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, and quality control for capital projects, review and approve contractors’ payment applications, change orders, construction schedules, and ensure compliance with contract documents.
