Accessible Seating

The Columbus Civic Center has up to 77 handicap seats for events. See also SPECIAL NEEDS.

Administrative Office

The Administrative Office (706-653-4482) is located to the left, past the stairs, upon entering the front entrance of the Columbus Civic Center. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Age Restrictions

All children ages 3 and older will require a ticket to enter an event unless otherwise noted. Please verify when purchasing if you will require a ticket for your child.

ATMs

ATMs are located on the lower and upper concourse. Please speak to a Civic Center employee regarding the location of an ATM.

Bag / Purse Policy

Box Office

The Box Office (706-653-4460) is in the front lobby upon entering the Columbus Civic Center. The normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend hours vary and are Event based. See TICKETS.

Camera / Video Recording Policy

The admission of camera/video recording is Event based. Please check with Box Office staff prior to an event and with Civic Center Event Staff/Security on the day of an event. Information regarding camera/video recording is usually posted on the doors upon entering on the day of an event.

Child Admissions

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please check with Box Office Staff regarding age restrictions for Events if needed.

Concessions

There are 6 concession stands, and various portable outlets located on both floors throughout the concourse.

Drop-Off / Pick Up

Mail packages should be dropped off at the Administrative offices. A loading dock is also available when required. It is in the rear of the building.

Fan Code of Conduct

The Columbus Civic Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience. Hockey and Indoor Football fans have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Players respect and appreciate each and every fan.
  • Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional, and courteous manner by all arena and team personnel.
  • Guests will enjoy the basketball experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
  • Guest who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court will be immediately ejected from the game.
  • Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only.
  • There will not be any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Guest will also be responsible for their own good time by reporting inappropriate behavior.

The arena staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard or guest service staff member. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejections without refund, and revocation of season tickets and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.

Guest Services

Guest Services is located on the second floor of the Civic Center, East Concourse at the top of the stairs to the left and on the West Concourse at the top of the stairs to the left.

Hospitality Rooms

There are 3 hospitality rooms available for rent.

  • Coweta Room has 1,500 sq. feet and can accommodate 175 people in a social setting, 85 people seated.
  • Chattahoochee Room has 2,000 sq. feet and can accommodate 250 people in a social setting, 130 people seated.
  • Oglethorpe Room has 1,500 sq. feet and can accommodate 175 people in a social setting, 85 people seated.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found is in the Administrative Office of the Columbus Civic Center. It is located on the first floor of the building. If you need to call to inquire about a lost item, call 706-653-4482. Business Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Lost Children

If a child is lost, please notify Security personnel, a Civic Center Manager, or available Law Enforcement personnel immediately.

Merchandise

Merchandise for in-house sporting teams can be found on the Concourse. Please speak with a Civic Center employee regarding the location/availability of the Merchandise for events (i.e. concerts, plays, etc.) the day of the show.

Private Event

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being brought into the Columbus Civic Center:

  • Fireworks
  • Illegal drugs
  • Outside food and beverage of any kind
  • Bottles, cans and/or coolers
  • Audio or recording equipment of any kind
  • Laser Pointers, aerosol cans and noise makers
  • Backpacks or any other oversized bags

Restrooms

The Columbus Civic Center has restrooms (including family) located in the front area just past the lobby on the left and right sides, and along the upstairs concourse. Please follow signage. There is a total of 5 Women's restrooms, 5 Men's restrooms, and 4 Family restrooms.

Scoreboard

There is one Daktronics System. It is a four-sided, center hung board with multi-sport display for basketball, hockey, boxing, etc.

Seating Capacity

The Columbus Civic Center is a state-of-the-art multipurpose sports and entertainment facility with 10,000 arena seats, 23,000 square feet of flat floor space, and 5,000 square feet of hospitality suites.

Security

Our well-trained security team is located throughout the Columbus Civic Center. Security will use a hand-held detector to perform a check for metallic devices. Personal items, such as bags, will also be search before you can enter the venue.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Columbus Civic Center. A designated smoking area is available outside the south entrance doors on the second level concourse. Do not walk out any doors without verifying with security first, to assure your re-entry.

Soliciting

No loitering, trespassing, soliciting/peddling, resale of tickets, merchandise, or other items, is permitted on the Columbus Civic Center property without prior approval from the venue.

Special Needs

The Columbus Civic Center is proud to offer full access to patrons with special needs by offering up to 77 handicap seats for events, special needs restrooms, and patron elevator.

Television Monitors

We have television monitors throughout the Columbus Civic Center, located in our front lobby, and along the upstairs concourse.

Tickets

The Columbus Civic Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for ticket purchases. On event days those hours will vary. Please call, 706-653-4460 or check this website for those times.

Tickets can also be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.

Ticket Issues

For ticket-related problems, patrons should proceed directly to the nearest open Box Office ticket window.

Ticket Lost

If customer paid for their tickets with a credit card and has receipt, we will be able to look up purchase. Please notify us ahead to allow the needed time to process and find transaction. If paid in cash, unfortunately we will not be able to verify transaction.

Ticket Refunds / Exchanges

Refunds and exchanges are not allowed unless there was a change to the date or time of the show. All refunds are done at the point of purchase location.

Ticket Reselling

The resale or attempted reselling of tickets on Columbus Civic Center property is prohibited by law. Violators will be removed from the premises and subject to arrest and prosecution.

Water Fountains

Due to COVID-19 our water fountains are temporarily not in service

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available as first come, first serve, due to limited availability. Please see Guest Services.

Will Call

Guests can pick up Will Call tickets on the day of event, or at any time during normal Box Office hours, starting a week prior to the event. Photo identification is required to pick up tickets. See also BOX OFFICE.
