Lower Chattahoochee Workforce Development Area – 14 is the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant administrator for the Chief Local Elected Officials (CLEOs) and the local area business-led Lower Chattahoochee Workforce Development Board (LCWDB).Columbus Consolidated Government serves as our fiscal agent and receives federal funding to support workforce development in the local area, which includes Harris, Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Stewart, Quitman, Randolph, Clay, and Talbot counties.
We offer career, education, and training services to assist participants in preparing for and obtaining employment.We are a community partner providing no-cost recruitment and employment services to businesses and job seekers in the Lower Chattahoochee area of Georgia.

- Transportation Assistance – METRA cards are available to individuals who are eligible, and participating in a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded program.
- Work-related Training Fees
Access to computers is available at the Columbus Department of Labor.There are no costs associated with WorkSource Lower Chattahoochee-14 services.Services are contingent upon the availability of federal funding and individual eligibility.
