Midtown Connector Trail #3 | 30-Day Comment Period

The Columbus-Phenix City Metropolitan Planning Organization (CPC-MPO) Policy Coordinating Committee approved Dragonfly's application to utilize Transportation Alternative (TA) funding to construct a multi-use trail connecting the intersection of Cherokee Avenue and Garrard Street with the Fall Line Trace trail at Slade Drive. This is the final segment of the three part "Midtown Connector" linking Midtown, Lakebottom, The Riverwalk, The Martin Luther King Jr. Trail, Uptown and more.

American Rescue Plan Funding Priorities Meetings

The Columbus Consolidated Government will host public meetings to discuss funding priorities for the American Rescue Plan (ARP). As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the City of Columbus received a direct allocation from the U.S. Treasury for economic relief from the devastating economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds can be used to respond to the public health emergency with respect to COVID-19 or its negative economic impacts, respond to workers performing essential work, revenue replacement for the government, or investments in water, sewer, or broadband infrastructure. Please join us at the City Services Center, Council Chambers or watch live on CCG-TV.

The Columbus-Phenix City Transportation Study – Metropolitan Planning Organization (C-PCTS-MPO) is conducting a competitive project selection process to award expected FY 2022-2024 Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) Program Urban Attributable (Z230) funds, provided through the act entitled Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (also known as FAST Act).


Interested agencies or organizations may complete the application at this link.
