Final MTP Public Meeting

The Columbus Phenix City Metropolitan Transportation Organization (CPC-MPO) is having its FINAL public meeting regarding the update of the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:30 PM in the 1st Floor Conference Room at the Government Annex Building (420 10th St Columbus, GA).
 
Tell your friends and family and come share your ideas and concerns about Columbus' transportation network (Roads, Rails, Public Transit, etc). We want to hear from you!

Capital Projects Public Meetings

Monday, October 21, 2019

The Mayor and City council will be holding public engagement meetings to gather community input on future capital projects located throughout the city. The project could include public safety infrastructure and equipment, roads, parks and recreation facilities and equipment, public works infrastructure and equipment, the Government Center building, and other projects as identified through the community engagement process. 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Draft

The Columbus-Phenix City Metropolitan Planning Organization's 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) draft is now available! The MTP is the instrument for coordinating the metropolitan long-range transportation planning in the city of Columbus, GA, Phenix City, Chattahoochee County, and segments of Harris County (GA), Russell County (AL) and Lee County (AL). View the draft of the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.

The Columbus Consolidated Government, in partnership with the US Census Bureau, is excited to announce the formation of our Complete Count Committee. The Complete Count Committee will help tailor outreach efforts, particularly to hard to count communities, and help the Census Bureau accomplish it's goal of "counting everyone once, only once and in the right place".
