Deputy City Manager of Planning Responsibilities are to assist the City Manager in the execution of his assigned duties, to emphasize future planning and development for the Columbus Consolidated Government; and to oversee the Departments of Finance, Community Reinvestment, Engineering, Planning and Inspections and Codes. The primary functions of these departments are planning and coordinating the efforts to improve our community and assisting in the planning to sustain and expand current industry while also recruiting new industry for the community.
