24 Hour Hockey Classic

The only event of its kind in the southeast, local hockey players embark on a full 24 hours of hockey beginning with the first puck drop on Friday night and continuing unabated until 7:00 PM Saturday evening before our River Dragons take the ice over at the Columbus Civic Center. This event will bring awareness to our hockey community in the city of Columbus and in the South while also helping sponsor kids who can have the opportunity to learn the sport of hockey and sponsor their equipment with our new Columbus Urban Hockey Program "United We Play".

The 1st Annual "Jerome Bechard 24-Hours of Hockey Classic" will be held April 5th-6th, 2024 at the Columbus Ice Rink.

Over the 24-hour event period, skaters and fans will see over 12 hours of ice time, in either two, three, or four-hour blocks. There will be a resting period for each team following their on-ice time with the nutrition/hydration area.

Ice Times Proposal Schedule:

Columbus Ice Rink/Columbus Civic Center will cover the ice times.

Single Elimination Tournament with the first game starting at midnight April 6th, 2024 until 3:00 PM April 6th.
