This workshop is an opportunity for interested individuals to learn about the process of investing in these properties and how to navigate the Land Bank Authority's website to apply for available properties. The Land Bank Authority has recently opened applications for 55 properties on their website and has received a lot of feedback from the community about wanting to learn more. meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Columbus Convention &
Trade Center, Foundry Room. The Mayor, City Manager, State Legislators and City Councilors will participate
in the meeting to discuss the city’s recommended legislative agenda items for the 2024 Georgia Legislative
Session.

29th Annual Help the Hooch Community Clean-Up and Watershed Festival

from the 29 t h Annual Help the Hooch Citywide Cleanup residents of
Columbus, Fort Benning, and Phenix City are invited to participate in the 29th Annual
Help the Hooch Cleanup on Saturday, October 7th from 8:30am to 11:30am. We’re proud
to announce that all our designate cleanup sites are all Full. Registration is now closed; however,
we are asking residents that would still like to volunteer to clean up your neighborhoods,
churches, or any other public and private spaces in need of cleaning. Let’s Get Clean Columbus!

Mayor Skip Henderson Recommends New Police Chief for Council Approval
