Woman Killed, Man Injured in Shooting

***UPDATE*** Probable cause was established to obtain warrants for Kevawn Davenport, 22, in connection with the death of Lexus Antrom. On February 12, 2026, detectives served the warrants on Davenport while he remains hospitalized and receiving treatment for his injuries.

Stone Park Drive Murder Investigation

Property Crimes Unit Reports Case Clearances for December 2025 – January 2026

The Property Crimes Unit reports the following enforcement activity for the months of December 2025 and January 2026. During this period, investigators cleared 71 cases and arrested 23 individuals, resulting in a total of 205 charges. These totals do not include the results from three Porch Pirate Details conducted in December 2025.

Columbus Police Department Announces Decrease in Part 1 Crimes

The Columbus Police Department is reporting a decrease in crime as the year comes to a close. From January 1 to December 2, 2025, the city reported 1,022 fewer Part 1 crimes than during the same period in 2024. Violent crimes show a 29% reduction for the year.
