	|  | Muscogee County Prison 
           has three full-time counselors. Their responsibilities are to provide 
           counseling services to the prison population, in an effort to meet 
           the offenders individualized counseling needs.

	|  | Muscogee County Prison 
           provides inmates an opportunity to achieve a GED. Classes are 
           provided Monday and Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm. Since 
           1997 several hundreds inmates have earned their GED certificate. We have 
           the best GED program in the state.

	|  | On-the-job-training is 
           available to qualified inmates. OJT equips the inmate with marketable 
           skills for his future. Since the program started in 2001 we have had 
           100 successful inmates graduate from the Middle College of Georgia 
           program.

	|  | Motivation for Change 
           classes are taught the second Wednesday of each month. All inmates 
           that have drug charges are required to attend the class. Other 
           inmates are encouraged to take the class.

           inmates are required to take this course.

           volunteer to assist in the implementation of rehabilitative programs 
           approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections and State and Local 
           Standard Standard Operating Procedures.
