*O.C.G.A. § 21-2-14. When the last day for the exercise of any privilege or discharge of any duty prescribed or required by this chapter shall fall on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the next succeeding business day shall be the last day for the exercise of such privilege or the discharge of such duty.

Absentee Voting

If you will be out of Muscogee or cannot get to your polling place on Election Day, you may cast your vote with an absentee ballot.

To vote using an absentee ballot:

  1. Download the Absentee Ballot Application.
  2. Fill out the application.
  3. Fax (706-225-4394) or mail the application to the Elections Office.

  4. Or email it to muscogeeelectionsandregistration@columbusga.gov
  5. You will then be sent a mail-in ballot which must be received by the Elections Office no later than the close of the polls on Election Day. Please send your mail-in ballot to the mailing address above (in answer #3).
